At the age of fourteen he had taught himself the guitar and had already began playing professional gigs. In 2011 Yac decided to make a career out of performing and began playing shows full time. By 2012 he was playing five nights a week throughout Brisbane. He also began posting videos of himself singing covers on Youtube alongside his brother Noah. Their videos quickly gained a lot of attention and after a few months their YouTube channel had over 1.3 million hits.

Since then Yac has been playing music either solo or alongside Noah as “The Fonoti Brothers” all across Australia. In 2014 he released his debut album “What Lane?” the following year “The Fonoti Brothers” release their debut album. Today Yac is still a busy man playing around three hundred gigs a year and constantly working on new music.
